Is it permissible to divorce a wife who oversteps the boundaries of interaction with foreign men, disregards her husband's jealousy, and refuses his prohibition of her doing so, knowing that she is pregnant?

Jealousy over family is praiseworthy as long as it does not exceed the bounds of moderation. It is incumbent upon the wife to obey her husband in what is right, and she is not permitted to defy his prohibition against speaking with non-mahram (definition) men without a need. The husband is permitted to discipline her for this, and if she does not obey him and he divorces her, he would not be a wrongdoer. The advice to the husband is to keep his wife and live with her kindly. If she does not obey him, he should pursue means of reform with her, such as admonition, avoidance, and light, non-injurious striking.
