Will a Muslim in Paradise attain his wishes that he desired in this world, even if they were imaginary?

Allah the Almighty says: "And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally." (Az-Zukhruf: 71), and "And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]." (Fussilat: 31). Thus, Paradise contains everything a person desires, and whatever they ask for will be found and presented to them. There are traditions indicating this, among them that a man will desire a bird, and it will fall into his hand, and that a cloud will rain down everything they ask for, even the youthful companions (Kawa'ib Atrāb). However, if the request is impossible, then it is decreed not to be, and thus it will not materialize. An example is the martyrs' request to return to the worldly life to be killed again in the cause of Allah; Allah will not grant them that because He has decreed that they will not return to it. What is required is for the servant to ask their Lord for Paradise and not delve into details, for if they enter it, they will be given whatever they wish.
