How can one get rid of sins and transgressions and commit to acts of obedience, in light of obsessive thoughts and the fear of an oppressed person's supplication?

The salvation of man, his guidance, and the attainment of Allah's pleasure, Glorified be He, depend on piety, striving in His obedience, struggling in His cause, opposing one's whims, and preferring what Allah Almighty loves. Therefore, he must seek Allah's help and frequently supplicate, repent, remember Allah, and seek forgiveness. Whoever does so will find Allah's aid.
