There is no specific prophetic tradition (Hadith) stating the prohibition of a mother being deprived of her child. However, there is a prohibition against separating a mother from her child. Whoever separates them, Allah will separate him from his loved ones on the Day of Resurrection. Depriving a mother is a more general concept than mere separation, and she retains the right to visit her child and see him at any time.
