What is the ruling on working as an accountant in a factory that produces tableware and wine bottle containers, and supplies them to hotels and tourist villages?

What leads to the unlawful is unlawful. Manufacturing containers for alcoholic bottles falls under what leads to the unlawful.

Therefore, it is not permissible to work in a factory that produces these containers, even if you are an accountant, because it involves assisting in the production of what is forbidden, due to Allah's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." (Al-Ma'idah: 2).

An exception to this is a situation of extreme necessity, such as not finding another job that meets your needs and the needs of those you support. In such a case, it is permissible to remain there until you find an alternative.
