How can one confront the problem of the wife's unwillingness to accept compensation for the day of the second wife, which she previously rejected, while she herself demands compensation for her day?

A husband must be just among his wives, and he is not permitted to travel with one of them unless by drawing lots or with the consent of the others. If he travels with one of them through lots or with the consent of the others, he is not obligated to compensate the resident wife for the travel period. However, if he travels with one of them without drawing lots, he must compensate by spending the same number of nights he spent with the traveling wife. A wife may waive her right to equal division (of nights) for her husband or her co-wives, provided the husband agrees.
