What is the ruling on keeping pictures of the deceased, hanging them in the house, and showing them to guests?

It is not permissible to keep pictures or clothes of the deceased to remember them, because that renews sorrow and is considered an actual eulogy for the deceased. The pictures must be burned. As for the clothes, they should either be used until worn out or given away as charity.
