Am I obligated to pay for illicit goods that I borrowed and have since repented from, knowing that they will use the money for illicit purposes?

If a Muslim borrows something unlawful from another Muslim, such as alcohol or pork, he is not obligated to return anything of it, because he does not own it. The same applies if the borrowing disbeliever converts to Islam before repaying the loan. However, if the borrower is a Dhimmi, some scholars say that nothing needs to be returned, while others say that the value must be returned to him, because the Dhimmi is permitted to own such items.
