Is the Hadith "A believer's faith is not complete until he sees that what Allah has decreed for him or against him is better than what he desired for himself" authentic?

This narration was mentioned by the author of Bustan al-Wa'izin, but he did not attribute it to a source. Furthermore, the Hadith scholars have not ruled on its authenticity or weakness. Thus, it remains within the realm of weakness until the status of its chain of transmission is known.
