How is the inheritance of a deceased woman divided if she has no son or husband, but has brothers and sisters?
The share of brothers and sisters from the inheritance of their deceased sister differs based on the type of their kinship with her (full siblings, paternal siblings, or maternal siblings). If the deceased left no heir other than her full siblings or paternal siblings, then the inheritance is distributed among them, with the male receiving the share of two females, based on the Almighty's saying: "And if there are brothers and sisters, male and female, then for the male will be the like of the share of two females." However, if some of them are full siblings and some are paternal siblings, then the full siblings preclude the paternal siblings, except in the absence of a male among the full siblings. In that case, the full sisters take their share (two-thirds for more than one, and half for one), and the remainder goes to the paternal siblings. It is necessary to consult courts or scholars for the division of inheritances due to their seriousness and complexity, as there may be wills, debts, or rights that take precedence over the rights of the heirs.
