Is it permissible for a fully veiled female dentist to treat male patients in her private or public clinic, with an assistant or nurse present, and while wearing a mask and gloves?

A female dentist's treatment of men who are not her mahram (unmarriageable kin) is a great fitnah (temptation/trial), due to the physical proximity involved and the prolonged gaze, which could lead to corruption. This is based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) saying: "I have not left behind me any fitnah more harmful to men than women." The general principle is that anything that causes fitnah is not permissible except for a strong need. For this reason, it is not permissible for a female dentist to treat men unless there is an urgent need or an unavoidable necessity. If she works in her private clinic, she should specialize in treating women and children, and she should not treat men except in cases of urgent necessity; otherwise, she should direct them to another dentist. If she will be working in a general practice, it is not permissible for her to do so unless she is compelled to take this job and cannot find another. She must fear Allah and avoid intermingling with men who are not her mahram as much as possible.
