What is the difference between Al-Masjid Al-Haram and Al-Bayt Al-Haram?

Al-Masjid al-Haram is the first mosque placed on Earth, and it is the Kaaba (the Sacred House) itself. It can also refer to the entire sacred precinct (Haram). The Kaaba is Al-Masjid al-Haram itself, whether one intends the specific place or the entire sacred precinct. The noble Kaaba can be considered the Kaaba, and Al-Masjid al-Haram is the mosque surrounding it. Scholars have differed regarding whether the multiplication of prayer reward to one hundred thousand is specific to the mosque itself or to the entire sacred precinct.
