Is it permissible to inform someone of love for them when they are unaware of this love, and is it valid to supplicate to Allah Almighty using the name of this person?

If a man is righteous and capable of marriage, it is permissible for a woman to ask her mahrams (unmarriageable kin) or his mahrams to propose marriage to him. She may also pray for her marriage to him to be facilitated, but she must be careful not to talk to the young man or establish a relationship with him; this is not permissible. The religiously lawful way for a young man and woman to exchange love is for him to propose to her and marry her through a valid marriage contract. It is not permissible for them to contact each other or exchange love messages before the contract, as this causes fitna (temptation/strife). If he proposes marriage, then praise be to Allah. Otherwise, the girl must turn her heart away from him by seeking Allah's help and striving against her own desires.
