What is the ruling on verbosity and should one seek forgiveness after it?
If the question is about belching, one should refrain from it, especially during prayer; some scholars have stated that it invalidates the prayer. If it is outside of prayer, one should suppress it, particularly when in the presence of others. Al-Tabarani narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Abu Juhaifa when he belched: "Suppress your belch, O Abu Juhaifa, for indeed, the people who are most full in this world will be the hungriest on the Day of Resurrection." If it is due to eating only what is necessary, then it is more appropriate to praise Allah. If it is due to overeating, then seeking forgiveness is more appropriate. As for whistling, it is disliked.
