Is it permissible for me to message a young man on social media after finding his picture to introduce myself to him?

The innate inclination between the two sexes is immense, and Islamic law has strictly prohibited conversation between non-mahram individuals without necessity, because the temptation of women is more harmful to men. It has been reported that zina (fornication/adultery) has its portions: the zina of the eyes is looking, the zina of the tongue is speaking, and the soul wishes and desires. Therefore, one must be cautious and not speak to the young man; rather, one should direct one's efforts towards what benefits in matters of religion and worldly life. Happiness lies in turning to Allah and adhering steadfastly to His obedience. And whoever makes the Hereafter his primary concern, Allah will suffice him in his worldly concerns.
