A Muslim woman must purify her home from means of disobedience and prevent their use except for what is Islamically beneficial. She must also prevent watching nudity and listening to music, and stay away from gatherings where these occur. Watching foreign men or their images with lust is forbidden for a woman. However, watching them without lust, if their 'awrah (private parts) are covered, is permissible. Nevertheless, it is better to engage in what benefits one in matters of religion and worldly life. Looking is permissible when there is no fear of temptation, as 'Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) did.
