It has been authentically reported from Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with both of them, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, designated Dhul-Hulayfah for the people of Medina, Al-Juhfah for the people of Syria, Qarn Al-Manazil for the people of Najd, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. These are the miqats for those who intend Hajj and . For those who are within these boundaries, they enter ihram from where they begin their journey, and even the people of Mecca enter ihram from Mecca. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered into ihram from the mosque at Dhul-Hulayfah and bathed there.
