Is it permissible to search for a country that applies the Islamic corporal punishment (hadd), surrender oneself to it, and confess to committing sodomy in order for the death penalty to be applied, given the suffering from homosexual tendencies, the inability to marry, and the fear of falling into sin again?

Sodomy is a grave sin and a heinous act, for which Allah destroyed an entire nation. One must realize the seriousness of this matter, offer sincere repentance, and be truthful with Allah to achieve purity and chastity. Marriage is one of the best means to overcome this disobedience. One can consult a trusted psychiatrist if necessary, for every disease has a cure. Prayer prohibits indecency and evil. It is not necessary to confess to a ruler to receive the prescribed punishment; repentance and concealing oneself are sufficient.
