Has the appearance of the Mahdi, the Dajjal, or Christ Jesus (peace be upon him) drawn near, and will that happen in our lifetime?

The appearance of the Mahdi, the Dajjal (Antichrist), and the descent of Jesus (peace be upon them) are certain and will occur. Their appearances will be close in time; Jesus (peace be upon him) will pray behind the Mahdi and kill the Dajjal. The exact time of these events is known only to Allah, but the religious texts indicate their proximity. A Muslim should seek refuge with Allah from trials, especially the trial of the Dajjal, and supplicate to Allah for steadfastness.
