Does a triple divorce take effect when the husband says: "When we reach our house, I will divorce you with three divorces"?

The husband's statement: "I will divorce you with three" is a promise of divorce and not an initiation, therefore divorce does not occur simply by this promise. The husband is not obliged to fulfill it; in fact, it is not recommended for him to do so. It is obligatory for the wife to obey her husband and treat him with kindness, and he likewise must treat her with kindness. Threatening divorce should not be a means to resolve disputes; rather, they should be resolved through understanding and wisdom.
