Is it permissible for a merchant to pay money to electricians to attract customers?

It is not permissible to pay money to workers for attracting customers, because they are entrusted with their work, and this money encourages them to betray that trust and engage in deception, which constitutes assisting in sin. Allah Almighty said: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Furthermore, a worker who takes money will not be free in choosing their client, and the principle in Sharia is to consider what is prevalent and prioritize it over what is rare.
