What is the ruling on reading religious books and the Qur’an with stolen money, along with sincere repentance and the inability to return the money to its owner?

Theft is one of the major sins, and its punishment is severe. The thief must offer sincere repentance by abandoning the sin, feeling remorse, resolving not to return to it, and restoring the stolen rights to their owners, even if it means selling his possessions. If he is unable to restore them, he should seek forgiveness and pardon from the rights-holder. If the rights-holder does not forgive him, the debt remains his responsibility. As for the matter of reward for reading books, this is a matter of the unseen, but forgiveness and reward are hoped for whoever's repentance is sound.
