How could the Qur’an have been revealed all at once to Bayt al-’Izzah (the House of Glory), when it contains verses that speak of events that occurred later, such as the woman complaining about her husband?

The Holy Quran was sent down to the lowest heaven on the Night of Decree as a complete whole, and then it was revealed gradually to the Prophet, peace be upon him, according to events and needs over a period of 23 years. All events of the Quran, including stories such as that of the woman who disputed with the Prophet concerning her husband, were decreed fifty thousand years before the creation of the heavens and the earth, and were recorded in the Preserved Tablet (Al-Lawh Al-Mahfuz).
