Are statements such as "Look at Allah" and "Here is Allah" permissible to be said concerning Allah Almighty?

Such phrases cannot be judged except by placing them in their context. They may be used in an unproblematic way, such as saying: "Look at how Allah commanded us to do such and such," or "Herein Allah Almighty explains such and such to people." However, if what is intended by it approaches the belief in the unity of existence, then this is misguidance. Ambiguous expressions and general phrases that can imply both truth and falsehood should be avoided. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: "Every phrase that can imply both truth and falsehood should not be uttered without clarifying the intended truth, to the exclusion of falsehood."
