Whoever commits a sin must conceal it and not disclose it. The child carried by a married woman is attributed to her husband, even if her pregnancy resulted from fornication, unless the husband denies the paternity through li'an (oath of condemnation). DNA tests are not relied upon to establish paternity in this case, because Islamic law aims to preserve lineages and protect reputations.
