The answer

What is prescribed for a man in prayer, if he wishes to draw attention to something, is to raise his voice with tasbih (subhanallah). As for a woman, what is prescribed for her is clapping. This is based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Whoever experiences something unexpected in his prayer, let him glorify Allah (say subhanallah), for clapping is only for women." And his saying: "If something happens to you during prayer, let the men glorify Allah, and let the women clap."
