Does the wife incur sin for not seeking divorce from her husband who does not pray, does not fast, drinks alcohol, commits adultery, engages in sodomy, steals, and embezzles money, due to the absence of a provider for her and her children? And do her children bear the sin of the supplications of the wronged due to their father’s actions?

One should frequently supplicate for the husband's guidance. If the husband's situation is as described, he is in great peril due to his accumulation of grave sins, including abandoning prayer. Most jurists do not consider it obligatory to separate from a husband for abandoning prayer, but it is recommended to separate from such a person due to his immorality and weak religious commitment, unless there is a prevailing benefit for remaining with him, while continuing efforts to reform him. The children are not held accountable for their father's misdeeds, for Allah Almighty says: "And every soul earns not [consequence] except against itself, and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another."
