What is the ruling on delaying Dhuhr, Asr, and Maghrib prayers beyond their prescribed times due to studying in the library?

Delaying prayer intentionally beyond its prescribed time is a grave error and one of the major sins. One must repent to Allah and be diligent in performing prayers at their appointed times, as studying is not an excuse for abandoning prayer. Maintaining prayer brings success and Allah's assistance. Allah has warned those who neglect prayer by saying: "Then, there succeeded them a posterity who neglected prayers and pursued lusts; so they are going to meet Ghayyā (إثمًا وخسرانًا/a terrible punishment)."
