What is the ruling of Islamic law on a specialized doctor who gives advice that contradicts the Islamic religion, and will he be held accountable for that?

Every human being must speak the truth. A physician is not excused by his ignorance of the prohibition of sodomy, intercourse during menstruation, or anal intercourse. Rather, he must ask those who possess knowledge. He must not conceal knowledge; instead, he must clarify the severe prohibition of these acts. Otherwise, he would be a deceiver, concealing knowledge, and exposing himself to severe warnings as mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah.

The physician is accountable before Allah for what he issues. He is not permitted to speak without knowledge or to conceal the truth he knows. Rather, he must remain silent if he lacks knowledge or learn what he needs for his profession. Just as a merchant is responsible for his dealings, so too is a physician responsible for his advice.

The advice for this physician is to fear Allah and guard his tongue, and to beware of being a caller to sin. For whoever calls to misguidance will bear the burden of the sins of those who follow him.

It is not advisable for a woman to visit this physician or speak with him about this matter. Rather, it suffices to send him the advice through men, because discussing such matters is not appropriate for a woman with a man, and it should be done discreetly, away from people.
