The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed Abu Sa'id ibn Al-Mu'alla that the greatest Surah in the Qur'an is "Al-Hamdu Lillahi Rabbil 'Alamin" (All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds), and that it is the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses and the Magnificent Qur'an.
As for the best verse, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, asked Ubayy ibn Ka'b about the greatest verse in the Book of Allah. Ubayy replied, "Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, affirmed his answer.
