Which is the most hopeful verse in the Qur’an?

Al-Tabarani reported from Ibn Mas'ud that the greatest verse in the Book of Allah is Ayat al-Kursi, and that the verse in the Quran that offers the most relief (faraj) is in Surat Az-Zumar: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah.'" Ibn Jarir reported from Ibn Sirin that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "There is no verse in the Quran broader than this verse." Al-Shawkani said: "This verse is the most hopeful verse in the Book of Allah, for it contains the greatest glad tidings."
