What is the eloquence in the word "many" (كثيرًا) being used for men, but not for women, in His saying, the Almighty: "and created from you many men and women"?

The verse is: "O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed, Allah is ever, over you, an Observer" (An-Nisa: 1). The verse mentions the abundance of men only because wisdom dictates that women should be more numerous, and because a man can marry more than one woman. The description of men as abundant sufficed, without describing women as such, due to self-sufficiency or sufficiency with the first description. This is an ellipsis, a conciseness through omission.
