What is the ruling on buying the Udhiyah in installments, knowing that sacrificing it is for the financially capable, but the one desiring it wishes to apply the Sunnah?

It is permissible for someone who does not possess sufficient funds to purchase an Udhiyah (sacrificial animal) to buy it with a deferred or installment-based debt, and this will suffice him. Some scholars have recommended that whoever does not find the price of the Udhiyah should borrow money to buy his Udhiyah if he is capable of repayment. As for someone who has financial capacity but currently lacks sufficient liquidity, he must borrow to offer the sacrifice, because he is, in reality, financially capable.
