Is it permissible to pay the security deposit required for transferring gold from bank profits, knowing that these profits are not involved in trade?

Usury is one of the major sins that must be avoided. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes usury, the one who feeds it, its scribe, and its two witnesses, indicating that they are all equal in sin. Therefore, it is not permissible to engage in a usurious transaction to assist in a commercial or other purpose, unless there is a compelling necessity that cannot be averted except by such a means, like the necessity that permits eating carrion.
