Is it permissible to leave university due to intermingling and a desire to devote oneself to acts of obedience?

Forbidden mixing in universities is an evil, a tribulation, and corruption. Studying in such places is not permissible except out of dire necessity, and on condition that there is no fear of temptation. Whoever fears temptation for himself must leave it and search for another university.
