Does an oath become binding merely by saying, "By Allah, I will not do it," without mentioning the thing that one will not do?

The swearer's failure to mention the referent of the pronoun in his statement, "By God, I will not do it," does not prevent the oath from being valid. For a sane speaker, the pronoun must refer to a mentally-conceived antecedent, even if it is not explicitly mentioned. However, if the speaker is not sane, then his oaths are not taken into consideration.
