To refute extraordinary tales, remember two things: Firstly, the Antichrist (Al-Masih ad-Dajjal), whose trials will involve great supernatural feats such as raising the dead and causing vegetation to grow. Not every extraordinary feat performed by a human is a divine miracle (karamah); some may come from sorcerers, innovators, and devils, and this does not indicate that the performer is a friend of Allah. Rather, one must observe their adherence to the Sunnah. Secondly, most of what is circulated today as supernatural phenomena are visual tricks and acts, which documentary programs have exposed, as happened with a famous magician who appeared suspended by fine threads.
