What is the ruling on taking a sum of money from the company's social services department, disbursed as a one-time grant for pilgrims?

There is no harm in accepting financial assistance for Hajj, and it does not affect its reward, provided that the assistance comes from a lawful source. This is based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "If anything from this wealth comes to you when you are neither looking forward to it nor asking for it, then take it. Otherwise, do not let your soul hanker after it." And if your brother gives you something, accept it. If you are rich, then give it in charity, and if you are poor, then use it to meet your needs.
