What is the ruling on working in an institution for domestic violence, where the severity of the violence might drive a woman out into the streets, leading to her sexual exploitation, knowing that Islamic law is not applied?

Working in such an institution is permissible if it entails legitimate benefits, such as spreading good, enjoining good and forbidding evil, or reducing corruption, while being safe from temptation. However, if it does not entail significant benefits, or if you fear temptation for yourself, then it is not permissible for you to work there. And whoever fears Allah, He will provide for him from where he does not expect.
