Is the statement "My mother is my past, my present, and everything good to come" considered exaggeration and a contradiction to His — the Most High’s — saying: "Say, 'Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds'"?

The phrase "I love my mother more than myself" is permissible if it is intended to compare the love for one's mother with the love for relatives. However, if it is intended as absolute love, then it is not permissible, because the love of Allah and His Messenger must take precedence over everything else, as Allah Almighty said: ﴿Say, [O Muhammad], "If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your relatives, the wealth you have gained, the merchandise you fear will decline, and dwellings you approve of are more beloved to you than Allah and His Messenger and jihaad in His cause, then wait until Allah executes His command. And Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people."﴾ [Quran 9:24], and due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "None of you will have faith until I am more beloved to him than his father, his children, and all mankind." It is better to avoid such phrases.
