Is refusing to accept an apology from someone who wronged and offended you considered an injustice? And is a person entitled to distance themselves despite having caused psychological harm to the other party?
The Sharia has prohibited discord and abandonment. Abandonment ceases with greetings and their reciprocation according to the majority of scholars. Imam Ahmad, however, holds the view that one is not absolved from abandonment until they return to the state they were in initially. However, if associating with a person harms one's religion or worldly affairs, then there is no sin in abandoning them, even if the abandoned person is hurt by it.
