Is it permissible to repeat the academic year, while informing family and relatives that the reason is disturbance in studying, and is this act considered hypocrisy (riya'), and will God grant me success after lying?

The correct action is to do what appears to be beneficial, and this is not considered showing off (riya'). A woman should not lament the past; rather, she should utilize her time in what benefits her in her religion and worldly life, while relying on Allah. If she needs to conceal something, she should use allusive speech (ta'rid) and equivocation (tawriya) without resorting to lies. As for love relationships between young men and women, they are unlawful and a gateway to temptation. The lawful solution is marriage, and if it is not feasible, they should turn away from this attachment and strive for chastity through marriage.
