The answer

You are on the right path and are not a hypocrite, God willing. You must maintain the acts of obedience you commit to during study days and other times, for Allah loves that His servant be constant in obedience. The Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) deeds were continuous, and the dearest religion to Him is that which its adherent perseveres in. So strive to adhere to what you do during study time and make it a constant in all your times. If you are interrupted from it due to an excuse, such as illness or travel, its reward will be written for you. What will help you to persevere is striving against your lower self with sincerity and truthfulness, constantly supplicating, associating with the righteous, and remembering that this pleases Allah the Almighty.
