Why does the questioner experience worldly whispers and trivialities that are unrelated to prayer or the Qur'an specifically during times of worship?

The anxieties and thoughts you experience during Quran recitation or prayer are not blameworthy, nor is there sin upon you, if you repel and reject them. Allah has overlooked such thoughts as long as you do not act upon them or speak them. The remedy for them is through supplication, earnest prayer to Allah, and seeking refuge in Him from the accursed devil. These anxieties do not invalidate the prayer, but they do diminish its reward. It is recommended to seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil and to spit lightly to one's left three times if the worshiper is praying alone.
