Is it permissible for a resident of Jeddah for three days, who has come from Dammam for Hajj, to enter into a state of Ihram from Rabigh or from the Miqat of As-Sail Al-Kabeer?

It is better for the pilgrim in to enter into ihram from the he will pass through before going to Jeddah. If he passes the miqat without entering into ihram, and then returns to enter into ihram, there is no harm in that. As for entering into ihram from Rabigh after passing the miqat of As-Sail Al-Kabeer, there is no harm in it, because Rabigh is further from Mecca than As-Sail Al-Kabeer. And whoever passes the miqat and returns to another one of similar distance, or further, there is no harm in that.
