Is marriage without the wife's consent Islamically valid, and is it permissible to marry her after her divorce from her invalid marriage?

The preponderant opinion is that a father does not have the right to compel his adult, sane daughter to marry. If he contracts her marriage without her consent, she has the right to seek annulment from the judge. However, if she accepts what her father has done, it is better for her as it involves showing dutifulness to her father, and perhaps that will be a cause for blessings. As for you, it is impermissible for you to be in a relationship with her, nor to incite her to annul the marriage, nor to marry her before she divorces and her waiting period (iddah) ends, if consummation has occurred. Some scholars have gone further, stating the impermissibility of a seducer marrying the woman he seduced. You must fear Allah and avoid this girl. If she annuls her marriage, then it is permissible for you to marry her according to the majority of jurists, who do not consider seduction a barrier to marriage. As for her remaining in your family's house, it is impermissible for a girl to leave her father's house in situations of suspicion and the accusation of exposure to corruption, except for a legitimate purpose such as saving herself and preserving her honor. If she has no acceptable excuse, she must be advised to return.
