Is it incumbent upon the wife to offer herself to her husband when there is a disagreement and the husband refuses to speak, or is it sufficient for her to adorn herself for him and leave the matter to him?

It is not obligatory for the wife to offer herself to her husband. Rather, it is obligatory for her to respond to him if he calls her to bed, provided there is no legitimate impediment. If she fulfills her husband's right by adorning herself and showing affection, then she has discharged her duty. It is not permissible for the husband to abandon his wife without a legitimate reason, as this contradicts living together in kindness and is a prohibition against abandonment among Muslims for more than three nights. The husband must fulfill his wife's right in bed according to her need and his ability, as this is one of her most emphasized rights upon him.
