Who is the neighbor of the mosque in detail?

The neighbor of the mosque is he who hears the call [to prayer], and it is said that the concept of "neighbor" in this context refers to what people commonly understand. It was narrated that Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "There is no prayer for the neighbor of the mosque except in the mosque." The neighbor of the mosque was interpreted as one who hears the Adhan. Al-San'ani mentioned that the negation of prayer here signifies the negation of perfection, meaning: "There is no perfection for the prayer of the mosque's neighbor except in the mosque." It should be noted that the hadith "There is no prayer for the neighbor of the mosque except in the mosque" is a weak hadith.
