Emigrating to safeguard one's religion from trials (fitan) is permissible and encouraged. However, in these times, it is fraught with many obstacles. Therefore, it is better to remain in your country and honor your mother, and to seek out people of faith and uprightness to help you learn beneficial knowledge, perform righteous deeds, invite to Allah, and abandon evil. This is better for you than emigration, which has become difficult due to residency laws and visa regulations.

If your friend has repented to Allah Almighty and her situation has improved, there is no harm in marrying her. We advise you to expedite this so that Satan does not lead you into anything forbidden.
