Participating in the abortion of a fetus after its formation and the insufflation of the soul into it is a grave sin, because it is the killing of an innocent soul and cooperation in sin and aggression. As for one who does not directly commit or assist in it, there is no blame upon them. Therefore, if you did not assist your relative in the abortion and did not condone it, there is no sin upon her.
